Pool and Pagoda area
In the grounds of the chateau you will find an outdoor swimming pool. You can be completely private to the outside while still enjoying wonderful views to the lake. You can find shade under the pagoda area or sunbathe on the terrace.

Sauna and Spa
There is a large orangery with a spacious sitting area, gaming table, sauna, spa bath, shower and toilet facilities.

Billiards
Guests can play billiards on the antique English billiard table.

Stables and Riding
The chateau has two horses available for guests to ride.

Walking
Walking five minutes from the chateau is a small village with a beautiful 14th century church built in a typical French style.

Chateau Rion is set in the middle of one of the largest pine forests in Europe allowing guests staying at the chateau to walk for hours in the woods enjoying the peace and solitude.

Hiking
Only a short distance from the Pyrenees, guests can enjoy hiking in the mountains.

Surfing
Many popular surfing beaches are only a short car journey from the Chateau.

PLEASE NOTE:
At the property you will find the original winery converted into accommodation where family of the owner reside.

In the same grounds there is a caretaker’s house. He will provide you with information about the property and the surrounding area.
